COMMUNITY ROOM DESCRIPTION
This shared room offers a total capacity of 10 beds, organised in five bunk beds. This community room, features a small balcony with a great view over the Douro River. It has an ensuite showers and toilets with privacy doors. This is a unique opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world during your stay. If you prefer, you also have the option to reserve it just for you and your group.

Mobile Phone Cables and Chargers
At reception, we have a set of mobile/tablet cables and power chargers. We require a deposit of 10Euros/cable and 25Eur/charger.

You have hair dryers available in all rooms in the wash room.
WiFi & Broadband Internet
The Happy Porto Hostel provides WiFi throughout all the facilities with 5GHz and 2.4GHz radio coverage. Our broadband access to Internet is based on fiberglass and on an cabled gigabit network.
Total Privacy in Toilets and Showers
All toilets and showers cubicles are inside the room. All units have privacy doors for individual use.
TV
We have over 200 channels available on the TV in the cafe and bar area.
Comfy Mattresses
Bed mattress are "Made in Portugal" and have a high quality standard to provide you with the needful comfort for a good sleep. These are the very same ones present in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the globe. Molaflex City and Star. Size: 90cm x 200cm x 32 cm

This community room has a small balcony with amazing views over the Douro river.
Power Adaptors US/UK/CH
We have plug adaptors available at reception. We require a deposit of 10 Euros.
Air Conditioner
All dorms have air conditioner installed , with a domotics controlled temperature set from 18 to 21C, so you will have a comfortable sleep either in the winter(warm) or summer (cool).
SIM card
We have Portuguese Pre-Paid SIM cards with data that can you can top up and use while you are in Porto. Subject to availability. We require a deposit of 10 Euros.
Free Map
We supply you with free maps of Porto and the North of Portugal in paper or PDF.
Personal Locker Box
We provide you with a personal locker box with key.
CCTV
For your safety and to maintain down the levels of noise, we record images and sound of areas of the hostel staircase and lounge. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions sections.

We have available a wide range of books, board games and wooden puzzles.

Bus Parking
Groups love Buses. There is free and paid bus parking on the streets around Happy Porto Hostel. Parking around the hostel are public and run by the Council. Fees are cheaper than most European cities. Right in front of the hostel there is a paid parking area for large buses and coaches. "Parque of Alfandega" receives large coaches and has security guards 24 hours a day.
